It is a fundamental mission of a laboratory like the CRAN to train scientists via research. This training can provide a diploma and leads to obtain a research master or a Ph. D. of the University (Nancy-Université). It can also be an educational stage not leading to a diploma, like training courses of research or a post Ph. D stay.
